This week I started to mentor it wasn't has difficult as I thought, but I do need some improvement since this is my first year I am kind of lost. This weeks workshop was google sketchup which I wasn't familiar with but it isn't hard to use it. This program consist of designing things such as buildings, furniture etc. it's very sophisticated but there are better programs were you can design this things. This is basically what i did/learn this week. 

Retreat

In the retreat that I got to go with the team was great. I had a good time and got to know people more. I learn that to be in the falcon robotics team 842 you only need to do is to be a roll model for others and to not ruin the reputation that the team has build over the years. There was a new record for chubby bunnies which is now 26. We had many activities were we were really active such as capture the flag,hiking and etc. Had a go time cant wait for the next retreat.

This week we were able to actually work with tools. Before we were able to use tools we took a test which was consisted of knowing safety procedures, the tools name, and where were they located. This week work shop was the building workshop were I got to use tools that i had never use before. We were able to apply what had we learn by unbuilding a robot. Unbuilding the robot is easy but to be able to build one gets complicated since there is a order to follow.

This week went fast I had the opportunity to know many tools that I didn't know before that are really common to use in robotics. I didn't only got to know tools but I also got to know what were the safety procedures to be able to use the tools. I also had time to help fix the filter of the fish tank with carlos.
